The pre Christian Celtic people of Ireland were by all accounts "tall, fair and strong" with brightly dyed woven clothing and beautiful Gold and Silver jewellery.
They have left a strong oral tradition with wonderful stories of their great kings and warriors.
The Celtic designs in jewellery and clothing have been maintained to the present day with many smaller craft suppliers producing products unique to Ireland.
